Y'know what? My drawings of Scooter suck. To remedy that I sat down with a first-season DVD, hit pause a lot, and sketched him from a bunch of different angles. I think I understand his head structure now, but I still have to fight not to "correct" that clamshell mouth of his. Note to self: do not use any of the puppets that appeared between TMS and the upcoming movie as reference, as their quality varies widely . The "flathead" Scooter in Muppets from Space is particularly yucky. unfortunately, the first few pics I sketched were based on a flathead puppet, and you can really tell.

The pic of Scooter and Janken doing what gay lovers are so likely to do in a park was drawn without reference material, and, yeah, Scooter looks a lot less awful now.

The next two are based on fic-in-progress "A Wandering Heart." The beaked monster is Lana Bea, a case worker, and Janken is barking into the phone because in a recent chapter I screwed up and swapped Janken's and Sprocket's names. Duh.

Boober isn't whacking Wembley at the bottom. I just happened to put those two drawings next to each other witout thinking about what they looked like.
