Hello everybody ! Despite my lack of time, I've find the time to finish this first Equivance Prompt picture for The Show Jumping Program !

I've decided to start this program with Damzelle to train this horse in a most realistic way than my other horses. I think I'll do the same for some others in some disciplines.

Story :

"Hello, girl."

Nao waked up early this winter morning. This day was the first ride for him on Damzelle and he was pretty excited, particularly by the fact that he was going to have a special training by Caelyne herself; a thing which was not so current. He knew that the stables' owner had to train herself first and a lot of work about managing the stables. So, having a particular lesson with her was rare and precious for the jumping riders.

So, Nao was awake early to spend a lot of time with Damzelle first. He wanted to take his time with the mare to get her ready for the lesson and to correctly knew her. He take approximatively a full hour to take her from the field, brush her, saddling her and then going to the indoor arena. Despite the cold temperature of this winter morning, he knew that Caelyne have planned some really physical exercises, and was so excited about this lesson - that why he was so motivated -.

When he arrived in the indoor arena, he noticed that Caelyne was already here too. She have get the ground poles and some cavalettis ready and was tracing the route of the first exercise on the chalkboard. When she noticed his appearance, she spin to him with a smile.

"Hello Nao !" she said. "Are you ready ? Did you feel in a good shape ?" she asked him.

Nao smile to her back and nodded his head positively.

"I am ! I am sooo impatient to see what this girl can offer to me." answered Nao.

Caelyne smiled more and make a thumbs up.

"Great ! I'm glad to hear that, 'cause the last time, I wouldn't imagine that kind of words in your mouth one day." The stables' owner said with a wink.

Caelyne do not say that with malice. That was more a constatation and Nao knew it. The last time they met with this girl, he showed himself as a really low confident guy. And a little coward too. But Eryn's reaction to his attitude and the warm compliments and advices that Caelyne gave to him after that had for effect to increase a little his confidence about his skills.

"So, what's the program ?" asked Nao, while he make Damzelle walking a bit to relax before riding.

"That's a real pleasure to see you so motivated, I insist." said Caelyne. "So, you will start with a long warm-up in the three gaits, with a lot of walk, some trot and a bit of galop. I want you to search the total relaxing of your horse, but with a lot of forward gait. Remaxing but active. You'll do a lot of gaits transitions and some stretching too. I want to see you with lose reins. If you do correctly your legs actions and if your horse have a good impulsion with a good engagement of the hind legs, she would be on the bit naturally."

Nao nodded his head positively and then climb on the mare. From the first minutes of the warm-up, the show-jumper was absolutely amazed by the gaits of the mare and her facility to be in a so good impulsion. The warm-up running really good and he was pretty satisfied of himself. He feel that he improved more in fifteen minutes with Caelyne advices than in his previous training stables. When the warm-up reach the perfect point of a impulsive horse and a rider in a good way to work, he looked at Caelyne.

"Well, all of that was pretty good. I see a good improvement in you. You'll do an excellent show-jumping rider if you follow that way. Anyway, let Dam walk a bit to take a breather, we will start the real training after that."

After the few minutes of walking with loose reins and after stroking the mare a lot, Nao lead her in front of the chalkboard. Caelyne was already in front of it, and was waiting for him.

"So, what I have to do ?" asked Nao with some impatience in his voice.

Caelyne smiled.

"Well, you will start with a basic exercise, but important to work correctly on higher jumps."

She turn herself to the chalkboard.

"You will start at M with an active trot in left hand and take the width. At C, you will do a volt which have to have G in the center, and then you'll continue to H. At H, you take the diagonal and change rein at the same time you cross the ground poles. Arrived at F, you take right hand, in the width, you make another volt which have to have D in the center. Then, you take the other diagonal from K to M, and you have to change rein between the two cavalettis. And you go to your starting point and you start again."

Caelyne let to Nao few seconds to digest all of the informations and then continue.

"The goal here is to reach the perfect straightness in the gait and in the attitude of Damzelle. Once you've mastered that in trot, you will try in galop. All good ?" asked Caelyne.

"Yep, understood." answered Nao.

"So, let's begin !" launch Caelyne with an enthusiast voice.

Nao started the exercise with a lot of motivation, but the exercise reveal itself as more difficult as expected pretty quickly. Despite a correct warm-up, Damzelle was so impatient to jump that she had the tendency to charge at the ground poles and to the cavalettis. The only moments when Nao could calm her down was during the volts. Furthermore, her show-off character have for repercussion that she wasn't regular in her gaits. That's only after a lot of tries that Damzelle only begin to be regular and focus. That's only after twenty minutes and after a lot of patient advices from Caelyne, that Nao finally could reach a satisfying result at the exercise. At this moment, Damzelle showed her real talent. She reveals herself as an excellent and naturally regular mare, at the moment that she was focused. But when they started the exercise in galop, things become to goes a little more difficult for the rider. In this moment, Nao realized how much Luna was easy to ride and how that was enjoyable to ride a trained horse as Arcane. More they was trying to focus Damzelle on the exercise in galop, more she become inattentive and a kind of crazy. After few passages in a mess way, Caelyne asked Nao to stop here.

"That's maybe a little early for Damzelle to try this exercise in galop, I think." she said. "For the following lessons and exercises, we will only work in trot and that's only when she will perfect in this gait that we will try in galop, ok ?"

Nao agreed.

"Yeah, I think that could be better. She's too... Happy, let's say that for now to work correctly in galop."

"I confirm. Well, do the exercise one more time in a cool trot to let her on a positive thing."

Nao shake his head as a yes and do the exercise one more time in trot. The mare immediately reveal herself as more focused. After that, he let her walk a lot, cuddling her with a lot of compliment. Despite the mess in the galop exercise part, he and Caelyne was pretty satisfied of this session. The mare was definitively talented and they both have high hopes for her. A future champion was in formation.

Story :

"Hello, girl."

Caelyne smiled more and make a thumbs up.
