Hahaha love it. Yes I agree with a lot of people on here. Korra was just so abrasive and hot-headed in the first two seasons that it became hard to watch her try to handle situations, because she seemed to always act before she actually thought things through and that got her into trouble many times, but in season 3 we started to see her character evolve (though slowly at first) I hate to see her so broken, but I think this will really help her become wiser with her actions and really grow as a character and as the Avatar. Book 3 was rightfully named I must say.

I would say Book 1 was actually better than avatar initially, except the ending twist ruined it for me. Book 2 definitely went down hill slightly. But Book 3 is awesome 110% all the way through.

i am the only one that does not give a shit about the tear part? i am more angry about the CHAIN part were zaheer leg gets stuff AND the part were the poison is metalic ( that just convinient nowi n the next season we will have a metal bender doin "blood control" be removing the iron in the blood of people (magneto style)
if zaheer had gone i would mind, the poison a simple water bending and a line of "take her to a hospital quick" could have work too you know?

Metalbending only works because the metal in question has particles of earth in it. If you fling a long rope at a pole it's gonna wrap around said pole (the windstorm also helped). The iron in blood is PURE Iron, not the impure stuff you find in stuff like bikes or supports.

You know, after two seasons of not really liking Korra as a character, I think I can now say I have started to change my mind. She's just been so.... abrasive and abusive in the past. I love a strong female lead, but even if she was a he, I think I would be saying the same thing.

Agreed. I actually really loved this ending because it was so sad. It had such a different vibe than every other ending they had done. I mean, they won and saved the air nation, but this time there was a significant cost for their victory.

I will admit. This season finally made me acknowledge it as equal to the original series. What the original series had were moments that actually made me feel with the characters rather than at the characters. Though LoK was starting to fix that near the end of season two.
Still, I cared more about the characters from the orginal (plus the story of Zuko will always hold a special place in my heart).
But THIS season... it was just AWESOME! Too awesome for me to nitpick. It was like the creators realized all their mistakes in the passed seasons and got rid of them so that this season would be perfect. They had perfect villains. Ones I could actually enjoy (and their voice acting was also so much better). They actually gave Tenzin a true badass moment. Korra was still a bit reckless but was so much less of an idiot hero like in season two. Mako was no longer in our faces making everyone around him suddenly an idiot or causing that super super super ANNOYING love triangle (so glad they moved passed that). They gave Bolin more charatcer development. They showed Mako and Bolin team up more and seem more like brothers. Things didn't go bad for Asami!!!! Lin backstory! I love new characters like Opal and Kai. Jinora's development! THere were funny moments but we always felt the gravity of the threat at hand. There was ZUKO AND IROH!!! But I have to say special mention goes to Zaheer and Korra's fight! It reminded me so much of Aang vs Ozia!
So much win in this season. Finally a sequel that measures up to Last Airbender!
