Really, though. That was a good finale.

I'm so glad I found these comics...I read them in their voices and laughed so hard at many of them! I love Varrick, but Bolin is my favorite. And the ending...! But I've liked LoK as much as Avatar for a good while now. But yeah. These are awesome.

Eh, I don't know if it's quite as good as Avatar.
This season was DEFINITELY a step up from the last season; I don't think I really have any complaints when there was numerous issues I had with Book 2. Didn't really love it either, though.
It's still missing the charm that original Team Avatar had. I see that charm in Varrick and a bit in Kai. The banter and the wit. Toph and Sokka. And there's a lack of the grand adventure feeling that the first had. Here the team just flies to the next location lickity-split, while in the original series it took a handful of episodes just to get to the Earth Nation.
And we haven't seen much comparable to the locations in the first series. The Northern Water Tribe, infiltrating the Fire Nation in disguise, the ruins in the sand and on Aang and Zuko's mission. Instead of experiencing multiple different original cultures and lifestyles most that we see in Korra are the poor and the rich. Everyone's seen the poor and the rich.
Also, I wish there was a more gradual progression between seasons. Besides the combinations of the spirit and physical worlds (which wasn't much of a factor this season) it's basically just Korra fighting some new threat each season.
I digress.
This season was very much a step in the right direction, but I for one didn't have many highlights.
But I enjoyed it.

i have no clue what you are talking about The Legend of Korra is a great series. for me Avatar the Last Airbender characters fell flat to me. so you really think having a episode with traveling would be a good idea for the story line of legend of korra it seem kind of a waste to pro long the series story line to me. then again having a relaxing episode with out fighting would not hurt to have i guess . pls do not take any offence to what i have said to you.

Yes you are right, not that losing all the previous Avatars wasn't cool too, but there was just something about a broken Korra that was awesome.

Unfortunately it took really long time for Legend of Korra to get on a comparable level with The Last Airbender... but boy in what way did it reach it.

And the deaths in the last two episodes...Made me just slack jaw for a good 3mins in shock. Just AMAZED that happened on this show. And for those who know about the first one to happen was gruesome...But damn it, it was great~!

Yeah, the finale was pure amazingness; love how it contrasted Korra vs Zaheer to the Aang vs Ozai battle

Yup,finale was neat. Avatar is getting kinda gruesome...first Earth Kingdom Queen choked to death, now that Zaheers gal basically blowing her own head off thanks to that armor stuck on her head.
