Really, though. That was a good finale.

all have to say is Avatar the Last Airbender is a weak series . The Legend of Korra was more of a hardcore series than Avatar the Last Airbender. The Legend of Korra is the better series then Avatar the Last Airbender. that my opinion.

You know, it's funny; I literally said the exact same thing as the banner after the season ended. DAMN, was that last bit an emotional scene. Jinora becoming an airbending master, Tenzin being more proud of her than words can say, the whole gang there to witness it, that bit with the new recruits airbending the wind chimes, and a broken Korra on the sidelines, shedding a single tear for the beauty of it all. I'm nearly 30 years old, and I'll freely admit; I cried like a wuss. If you didn't, you have no soul. I cannot wait for what season 4 offers.

Ever since they killed off the Earth Queen to the last episode of this season, I've been calling it "Legend of Korra: Sh*t gets Real Edition." This season had some pretty intense moments that I was surprised that they were able to get away with. I am glad Tenzin wasn't killed off and Zaheer was the only one to survive. In my opinion, the rest of his gang could've had more development so we could know who they were as characters rather than their powers, but then again... we might know more about them in season 4. I did like how they killed off characters in this season, it made the show really interesting with how the creators found more brutal, somewhat realistic ( in the show) way to kill off someone. I applaud them.

XD That title! I just totally almost cracked up blew my cover of doing homework. <____< Haha, but yeah. Stuff did get pretty real pretty fast in Korra. That Earth queen thing was a lot darker than I expected them to get away with, and I LOVED it! I do, however, still hold that the original (Avatar: the Last Airbender) series was probably just as heavy a situation, but the kids really didn't seem to get it for a while. I feel like the first season was trying to figure out if it was for kids or not and then the second and third seasons really improved. The third season of the original will probably always be my favorite, but I am loving this Korra season!

I feel like crap after the finale... It made me look up the symptoms of Mercury poisoning which are;
- mood swings, nervousness, irritability, and other emotional changes,
- insomnia,
- headache,
- abnormal sensations,
- muscle twitching,
- tremors,
- weakness,
- muscle atrophy, and
- decreased cognitive functions.
Which made me feel worse. Poor Korra, she has been through hell and back. I really hope she gets a lot better next season.

I know the feeling, I was SUPER bummed they killed off Ming-Hua. At least P'li's death was quick and most likely painless, Ming-Hua's death scream was awful.

I wasn't as upset at Ming Hua's and Ghazan's deaths. I actually shed a few tears for P'li. At first I liked Su, but now I hate her.
Also, were you in P'li's position, you'd probably have had a second to go "Oh, shit," before your head exploded. Quick and painless? Probably. But still not a good way to go out.

I laughed. And laughed and laughed and laughed. I liked P'li, but that was by far the most epic death scene in the show. Especially when I realized that looking at the damage that her bolts do to solid ROCK? Yeah, she no longer HAD a head. I just keep thinking about her falling to her knees and then hitting the ground and the steel ball just rolls off, showing how there's nothing at her neck but smoke. Then Lin just looks at Su and gives her a "Jesus Fucking Christ, I said take her out, not blow up her head" look before they run over to Zaheer. Who I'm kinda disappointed didn't go beserker. He just kinda went... "IS SHE DEAD!?!?!?! Damn... Meh, now I can do the thing". Seriously, I wonder if he was planning to off her himself so he could do the thing?

The one disappointing thing about The Legend of Korra is that it follows the TV format of 12 to 14 episodes which doesn't allow very much time to build up events and characters.
I'm probably going to binge watch Book 3 now from beginning to end.

This season was awesome. It took the best parts of previous seasons (real characters, good friends, growing maturity, cameos from older characters, world lore), learned from mistakes (pointlessly evil villain, flimsy love triangles, too many story threads) and created season that is more consistent, compelling, and rewarding to watch than either before it. It was actually able to surpass Last Airbender multiple times.

The finally was hardcore! Avatar state korra going beserk, the fights, the lightning, the subtle way they killed some people. By the way was with that scene between tenzin and metal bender guard chick, she said her name and she looked a little like sparky boom chick. And then Korra in a wheel chair, unexpected to say the least, but I'm glad they didn't do the "She's ok and back to normal bit" real grow potiental next season, not there wasn't this season. And Genora or Jinora? It's female Aang! or some a keen to that. Overall it was great!
I needed to get that out of my system.

it was late when I watched the episode, but when sparkly chick got offed, I didn't realize she actually died till I realized she had a bomb charged up when her head was covered. As for the lightning, no it was subtle, in fact I wonder if they'll dive into any trauma for Mako for killing someone, but people survived getting struck by lightning, but yeah, Thinking about it now, it wasn't subtle, just me too tired to think about what I was typing.

And then, and then Mako remembered he had the thing!! And Korra's hair did the thing!!! And Asami did the thing!!! And the Airbenders DID THE THING!!!!!!!! AND KORRA WAS DOING THE THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That last scene with Korra....I legit cried. And that one scene w/ Vaatu and Amon and Unalaq... Geez. That was messed up. And my favorite scene. Bryke just took this show to a place I didnt think they had the guts to take it. They shattered Korra's mind man... Just epic chiz!
