Dedicated and in tribute to the original Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.I'm just sick and tired of the goddamn angst shit with extreme guns and crap that video games have been taking and it seems unfortunate, but it seems Jak II is the possible one that started this whole trend. Frankly, I confess Jak II as my fave of the Jak series, but the original Jak and Daxter has more heart and charm then any of the other sequels. It's even ironic fans tend to skip out on the first one as well. After all, without the original Jak, there wouldn't even BE a Jak 2 and 3 and X, so you guys should be grateful for this underappreciated little gem. I love Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.
I can point out the numerous mistakes and live with it, but I swear, if I missed out on any characters, I'm gonna scream.

I loved playing this along with Ratchet & clank when i was younger (Funny thing is, those two companies made this game i think...but maybe not...) I LOVE THE ORIGINAL

This is bloody amazing! Very few people even think bout J&D:TPL any more! I think the first game was the most friendly and fun and there was a character for everyone to bond with. (to tell the truth i'm helplessly obssessed with the Jak games, and i was hooked on this game the christmas 7 years ago my family got it lol) I love the look on keiras face!!

I didn't bother with the sequels at all after I saw my brother and his friend playing. The first was so bright and colorful and fun. I can't believe they traded that for another dark! and angsy! game

I totally agree that the angsty, gun toting hero type games are really over-used. What sets the Jak series apart though is the fact that it has an actual plot, and interesting characters.
Awesome picture. I think you got everyone except the giant plant villain in the Forbidden Forest level. Although it is really hugeβ¦It probably wouldnβt fit. Thank you for the tribute to a very-underrated game.

Awesome picture. I love Jak and Daxter (though I love Jak II as well... haven't played the others). The characters were all so fun. I would never have the patience to get them all into the same picture. Great work!

I fully agree with this statement, I love the sequels but the first one was my favorite because it deviated from the normal "I wanna kill this guy cause he ruined my life" cliche oh and there wasn't any guns either, the first one owns because of this fact, it is much more original than the rest, all of that aside I still very much enjoy the rest of the series. ^^

Honestly, I'm not too sure I would call the first Jak game original. It's a standard platformer with cutesy cast of characters that's been established for years prior. What it is: a simple enjoyable game with its own set of charms.

I agree (once again) =3 I see the same thing with the new Crash Bandicoot, and Sly Cooper. Especially Sly Cooper. Although I adore the game play and story in Sly 3 and it is probably my favorite. I miss the first one and how it was just the three of them and it was..innocent, I suppose. But this isn't about Sly Cooper.

Actually, Jak II is my favorite Jak game. It's a prime example of successfully making a family-friendly game and turning it dark and edgy; the characters shine and develop, the story is engrossing and rich (for a platformer of that time, that is), even the gameplay, though hard, is challenging and lasting (took me 40 hours to beat the game--40! That's an average RPG length).
But Jak I will always have the charm.
