Description
Was out scouting out a new area for landscape potential when this little chappy came and sat bobbing (as they do) on a branch a few feet away from me.Never seen one of these before so was quite pleased to get a shot or two off before it took off over the river.

Really nice shot Justin, maybe half a stop too birght? A guy staying in part of the family home in Devon that we rent out would have kiled for this shot, he was trying to shoot wagtails for a week!

Yeah their really ahrd to get. You need to be patient and wait around for them to venture closer. When it snowed last I spent 2 hours laid in a foot of snow freezing my nadgers off waiting for one to keep venturing closer and closer. Got a few shots of it but nothing I bothered putting up (that I can remember anyway).
Yeah it does look a tad bright now i've had some sleep. Might pull it back a tad.

Nice shot. I have to go bird shooting again, The first time I went, I wasn't satisfied with the amount of good shots I brought back. You have some great shots in your gallery!
