I've been promising some new coastal work so heres the first for over a month!Taken this morning on a coastal shoot with =q-118
I finally got some decent shots down here. Every other trip has had bad light and crap weather. This morning the light was fantastic, altough a little harsh due to no cloud cover.

Haha. Every time I see these kinds of pictures, I think of beginning of most DBZ film DVDs, where they have the company logo over some waves crashing over a scene like this and a friend singing "waves and rocks!"

It looks so bright. But with 1s, f1:16 it had to be quite dark/early

no it was quite bright. Had a 0.75 (2.5) stop ND and 0.9 (3 stop) NG Hard Grad in place

I love the fact thats it's no clouds covering the sky here. It makes the piece more serene and beautiful I think.

yea I took some wide versions but the sun was coming up on the right and it really blew the shot out. Just couldn't balance it enough.

Damn, I was looking forward to waking up and seeing that on my monitor.
You should really consider doing some wallpapers though. I know I would really love them and I'm sure many others will too. =]

yeah unfortunatly I don't trust anyone
Problem with wallpapers is that they become printable, even at 72dpi to an A4 size and I don't take those sort of risks lol
