Also, when I go to save as a web device, there's a thin white line around the character. Would you know how to fix that?

Sonatina101 [2011-10-16 18:51:12 +0000 UTC]

does the animation work with photoshop element? and do you keep the eye lineart separately from the rest? (so confused)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

niaro In reply to Sonatina101 [2011-10-16 19:18:03 +0000 UTC]

nope! need Photoshop CS I think. and I just keep the complete eyelayer seperate from the rest. Think of it like stickers

KikaruHime [2011-10-10 20:50:17 +0000 UTC]

It seems that you use a separate layer from coloring, but I found that I couldn't bucket tool the hair using a separate layer. Do you manually color it or bucket tool the lineart itself?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

niaro In reply to KikaruHime [2011-10-10 23:00:11 +0000 UTC]

There are options on the bucket tool (when you select it) below Transparency that says

Target:
-Working Layer
-Selection Source
-All Image

Setting it on All Image should work U v U

Very helpful tips!

I always wanted to do a simple blinking animation but it always looked a tad bit funny.
But now I go look at this for reference!
