Its a very classic type of shot, however its really cool to see where the movements are with the fingerprints, and at the same time seeing the structural lines that give the piece a flow, yet also a shape.
On the other hand this piece almost demands that there is more going on the piece than it actually shows with how simple the actual original picture of it is. It almost seems too simple, that there should be more movement because the lines demand it to be so.
I really do love this piece though, very well made piece of art and can't wait to see more. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

this is CRAZY!! AWESOME!
it would be cool to see
if you added a bit of variation to the strokes, sharp & small in the foreground and slightly softer and bigger.
with your attention to detail im sure you could pull it off Β

incredibly mesmerizing- you take an everyday subject and transform a possibly mundane moment and turn it into a vibrant and moving experience-Β
Can I askβ¦Is this scratchboard? or just black ink on white paper? The swirled lines give the appearance of wind and movement which to me Β is a very clever method to guide the eye where you want to- it has that Van Gogh feel without ripping him off as many others do. Well Done

The movement in the illustration is an interesting effect against the vertical lines in the composition. Great work
