People longing for nature... Trying hard to get past that concrete wall, to hug the tree trunk, to watch sunset together. The town surrounded them, giving enough space, to the point of being empty. ย Really, it feels like the stairs are leading to something very important and enormous - maybe love? So this is just their way up, a difficult way to developing that feeling... Or this also could be the path of young people - they are obviously young! - to self-realisation and to happiness. I think - all of that.ย
I really, really love art that makes me think! So many thoughts in one fingerprint.ย ย ย

I've been enjoying your posts lately, but this one I especially like. The convergence of the lines along two slanting plans make for a striking setting. The 2 figures and tree just bring a little focus to the composition. It's very well put together...very striking.
