Description with a mind unstable and a heart filled with misery, we stumble through the war that we are living and more and more we struggle to bear the weight on our shoulders. our thoughts orbit around our soul like dust in a sandstorm and the fire that once burnt inside of our hearts has now gone out. and in the end, we are living dead and dying alive.

I mean, at least I tried. In the end, I did what I wanted to do and I should be proud of that. All chagrin and frustration should be left as it is and I should just see it as a motivation and help for the next time. So yeah, shoot me down. I've got my arms wide open.

One of the strongest conceptual artworks I've seen in a long time.
Each photo is great-all combined..perfection!
(I was listening to this song [link] when I saw it. I think they go well together..)

Now out of curiosity, no judgements intended, what books did you read as a kid? I find that is pretty interesting because the photo is rather about death to me than what usually is written about in child books.

Hahaha,no of course,no judgement
Well,I have started reading from when I was very very young(I asked-begged my mom every night when she returned from work to teach me how to read and write, and so I knew even before the other kids knew what the alphabet was),and I actually started reading child books, obviously. At the age of,I don't know,8 or 9,I had finished all of my books,so I started reading more "classic" literature pieces. My favourite book, for example, was the story of an orphan that wanted to learn how to read, but he was working at some range on a mountain, and when he found someone willing to teach him,his boss didn't want him to.And at some point, there is an old woman who helped him(as he left his boss, went to a village and was living in the streets),whose daughter wanted her to die because,as she said, she was"a pain in the ass".And we see that old woman dying, and being in a paranoia because her daughter was bringing a priest for some reason but she wanted to die alone,in peace. And it always left me crying, because the little boy is her only friend and she is scared of death, but also wants to leave her sad life behind. And that's just an example of a book I read when I was 9(and it still is my favourite, because the whole book is the most amazing I've ever read).Or,the story of the little mermaid, the real story. Her sisters give all of their hair for a knife, and the little mermaid has to stab the hearts of the prince and his wife. But she, instead, throws away the knife, kisses the asleep prince goodbye and her body breaks into millions of tiny pieces and becomes sea foam. And I read that when I was 5.
I wanted to read more "realistic" books,my parents asked me not to read that much, actually, but I didn't listen to them. And since I was always too shy,the thing I spent my free time on was mostly reading
I apologise for the looooooong answer,it's in my nature to write much
Hope I helped your curiosity

I am so glad you noticed that, ah! Thank you a lot.

And there's no day two, there was a delay because I went to the Occupy Camp in my hometown for three days since Monday, but I'll re-start as soon as I'm not as busy. That will be soon.

Gorgone In reply to NikolasBrummer [2012-08-06 00:20:34 +0000 UTC]

Der Tod ist überall, und für dieses Leben bin ich schon zu oft gestorben.
Ich habe ihn sogar auf mir verewigt.
Man sollte sich bewusst machen, dass an sich ja alles endlich und ohne Bedeutung ist.

NikolasBrummer In reply to Gorgone [2012-08-26 14:05:42 +0000 UTC]

Aber danach sollte man nicht leben. Man sollte nicht an das denken, was man in hundert Jahren ist. Man sollte im Moment leben, und dann ist es ganz egal, ob es vergänglich ist oder nicht.

Gorgone In reply to NikolasBrummer [2012-08-26 23:45:04 +0000 UTC]

Das ist auch in meiner Ansicht die Hauptsache: Lebe den Moment - denn der Moment ist vergänglich.
