Storyline

Sophie had already been waited by Lucie and Alex, who were actively chatting about something. Firstly they hadn’t even noticed her being busy with talking and laughter, but as soon as she slapped the door, the attention was finally switched to her.
“Alrights, let’s go. We’ll show everything and maybe you’ll meet the others”, announced Alex, setting off forwards.
They were marching together. Sophie was seeing the arenas, including as indoor and outdoor ones. The biggest outdoor arena was aimed for the competitions, surrounded by tribunes and judging tents. There were two stables on the territory as well: private one and one for the guests. Lucie and Alex showed Sophie their horses, and after one more mare who was supposed to be given to her. She was adult and calm horse of Mrs. Monet, who was the first horse of Lucie, who learned riding on her when she was a kid. However, that was still undecided which horse will be given to Sophie, so the meeting of horses was delayed a bit.
After they moved on, passing by the paddocks, straw stocks and other small but important corners of the center. On their way back they passed by the big outdoor arena and noticed someone having a workout. That was that very Jazz, who Sophie saw lunging her horse. Now there was the same horse, but in action under the rider, the mare looked even more powerful and advantageous. Coming closer, they saw a guy leaning on the fence. He was wearing usual everyday clothes.
“Andreas!” called him Lucie to catch his attention.
“Oh, look who’s here”, the guy pushed himself from the fence and taking some steps to the trinity.
“Ciao, bella”, Alex slapped the guy on his shoulder, approaching him, and they stood by his side.
“You’re Sophie, right?” Andreas refreshed his memory, raising his left eyebrow a little and screwing up his eyes looking at the girl.
He could be doubtlessly called the local Apollo. All of the girls and women, working and riding in this center, were having crushes on him. He was a fit guy of a mediocre height, with short beige (not to say blond) hair, a little bit shaped backwards. He had pleasant and quite unusual facial features. However, loads of people paid attention to his look, which he was using absolutely for everyone, but each of ladies thought that was a special look only for the “chosen ones”. Oh how were they mistaken. That was just the usual look of Andreas, who, even if he did want to, couldn’t have seen himself as a god of beauty and wasn’t showing off that attention coming from ladies (and sometimes not only from them).
“Yeah, that’s me”, barely pronounced Sophie, being caught by the attraction of the guy, and Lucie quietly giggled noticing that she became Andreas’ look “victim” as well.
“Nice, very nice to meet you”, nodded Andreas, crossing his hands on his chest, “how do you like it here?”
“Yeah-yeah, sure, it’s beautiful”, pronounced Sophie, without any idea what else could be said.
“Hey guys, wanna hang out in here for a lil’ bit with me? I’m waiting for Jazz to finish, like 10 more minutes. Could spend come time together, you’d watch a little, wanna stay?” Andreas moved his attention from Sophie to the others, which made her a bit upset.
“Oh well if you’re insisting”, agreed Alex in jest using a flirting voice, factitiously winking to Andreas, on what the last one reacted with laughter and a light punch into Alex’s shoulder.
“You know, Alex, if only you were seducing the girls like you seduce me-“, he for a second forgot there was a new person among them and so started behaving himself as usual.
“Ok, ok, guys, let’s not make Sophie scared, I guess she had enough for today. And you Andreas, could have not succumb to Alex’s perverted provocations, especially having an actual girlfriend”, interrupted them Lucie, probably with purpose stressing out that he had a girlfriend, so Sophie wouldn’t start dreaming about anything.
Now all four were leaning on the fence, watching Jazz’s workout. She was concentrated, and, it seemed like she didn’t paid any attention to them. Only for a couple of times she took a glance on Sophie, but she quickly was loosing her interest in that, continuing on her work. That was the second time she was going through the same perfectly memorized dressage program, which she wanted to perform on the next competitions.
Sophie, in her turn, as any other girl who had met Andreas for the first time, couldn’t take her eyes off him, while Lucie was watching her barely holding her laughter. Andreas wasn’t paying any attention at this at all. Jazz was his girlfriend, and, despite her difficult temper, he loved her and considered her to be one of the best people on earth. Few people shared the same point of view, and everyone was more surprised by how he could be getting along with the complete opposite of him.
As Andreas mentioned, Jazz finished her workout in ten minutes, after what jumped off Blue and walked some time handling her for relax, and then finally leaving the arena. When approached Andreas, she was pulled by him, after she gave him a kiss, somehow showing who he belongs to. Only then, measuring Sophie from head to toes, she asked:
“A new one?”
“I’m Sophie”, squeaked Sophie under the severe look of Jazz.
“I’m glad”, cut off Jazz, “Well, Andreas, wanna go to unsaddle Blue with me?”
“Sure, if you guys don’t need me anymore”, he looked around the company, who, of course, let him go, hoping he would give a hint to Jazz to behave herself more decently with Sophie.
The couple left with Jazz leading the horse and Andreas walking by her side and holding her waist.
“Those are our sweeties” proclaimed Alex, as soon as they set off back to the boarding house, “They have pleeenty of arguments, but they’ve never broke up during these one and a half years”
“Oh ya, nerves of steel they have”, sighed Lucie.
“Who of them?” Sophie wondered.
“Eh, both of them. Alrights, you go get your luggage unpacked, have a rest and then come downstairs at 16:00, we’ll try to gather others there so you all will meet”.
After that Lucie and Alex went in the other direction from the house, and Sophie, obeying to them, went upstairs, thinking about all those people she had already met that day. Having texted her mother, she started to unpack and to make her room a little bit more inhabited. She had a lot of different thoughts appearing in her head, starting with what was between Lucie and Alex, as those two were together all of the time, to the horse, which she would be given. Seeing all of the territory and what was happening there, she understood, that she would be interested to try herself in this kind of sports. She didn’t also deny, that she might have even liked all of that.
