Ok, now, concentrate. Jump… great, clean. And one more… oh, you’re making me happy, Alex, good job. And, God save, the last one…
Oh shit, sure, damn it. Of course, I just had to fail this one, what did I expect? Evil eye – serious affair. And that was the last jump! I could have passed the whole route without any mistakes at all. But I kinda get it why I failed. I should have taken the other angle before the jump… yeah, that was definitely the bad angle. Alright, f*ck it. Other days it was fine, so today I’ll just let it go. And moreover, today I have an airy mood and that happens… well, almost every day, what to hide. I’m a positive person, what can I do? Interesting, am I the only one in this stables, who’s not that focused on the competitions? Because it seems like I’m kind of an extinct species, who can think about loads of different things, not only about “ohmygahd-i-have-to-win-those-competitons!”. That’s stupid as hell. Ok ok, it would have been fine if they did it for themselves, but no, they’re just dancing like clowns in front of our “amazing” Mrs. M. At least, I think so. But I can’t dwell on some competitions. I’m 19, for God’s sake! I don’t wanna sit in this center all day long, praying on Mrs. Monet and medals. That’s not my cup of tea; I wanna drink and have fun. No no no, I’m serious in relation to equestrian sports, and I’m devoted to it, and all that stuff but… come on guys, that’s a sheer torture – to be caged in here. Like, what da f*ck is this.
Ok, it’s time to finish the workout. Is it? I think so. It’s 4 pm already, and I still have the pile of saddle pads to wash. Aaand I haven’t annoyed Quentin yet…
Sometimes I just have this one question, besides the one if I’m really the only adequate person in here. And the question is – am I the only person, who has these beautiful entertaining monologues in my own head? Hypocritical, isn’t it? Adequate schizophrenic – that’s the essence of living. But hey, all of us are a bit crazy in our own way. Yup, it’s time to finish the training. You know, I think there’s no horse more awesome than Journey Into The Night. That’s just something. He can jump high as hell, and I’m in love with that sense of soaring. That’s another case with my Anny – she runs faster, and I’m loving it too. But, my heart is always with Jay – the best show jumping horse for me. Short, flexible. Interesting note – if to mix those two, we will get the perfect x-country horse.
Ah, finally I can get rid of this ponytail that I put my hair in for the workouts. That’s irritating, they always take the form of the rope. But there are pluses – hair don’t get messy and… yeah no more pluses. And, just imagine, how amazing that would be riding the x-country in the rain, with loose hair and in some cool clothes. I would look like some Viking. Ha, well, I’m not against.

I’m not eager to wash the saddle pads. Like at all. Maybe, yeah, I’ll make Lucie wash them for me, but I’m not sure. Oh what a boring day it is today, I mean like, how is it possible? Everyone is busy, everyone has “campififions in auguft”. Ah f*ck all of yours goddamn competitions… So yeah, everyone is practicing, then they are all busy, then they are having rest, and I haven’t seen Quentin for the whole day today! I think he’s avoiding me on purpose. Oh sure he is, indeed. I would have avoided myself too, if I were he. But what can I do, if he can’t accept himself as he is? Because I can see everything he hides…
