Eye to eye with D25 Dokoon, the Matriarch of D Pod.

I haven't drawn anyone from my pod for a while! The Matriarch is a beauty and I was never satisfied with the only picture I had drawn of her. I wanted to move away from my regular cartoon style and do a new style for this painting. I'm very pleased with how it turned out! I've been working on this for about a week and had to redraw almost every aspect of the painting at least once XD But it was worth it.

Haha, I have so many unfinished sketches that are intended to be my pod in finished pieces! I haven't been able to complete a painting. A bit lack of motivation I think! BUT Lately I have been getting the itch to create again so maybe I'll go through my collection of rough sketches and finally finish one
