Description
While I love drawing my cartoons, I have been itching to paint some realism. I wanted to try a watercolour-type painting, and I really like how it turned out ________________________________________________________________________________________

Ah man, this comment is so overdue, but this piece is so, so pretty! I think the watercolour effect really works well here, it keeps the background nice and soft, while drawing most attentions to the killer whale. I like the pastel colours you chose for this piece too, they give a peaceful and summery feel to it. Great job on the shading of the killer too, especially around the face. They have quite distinct 3d shapes which are usually lost in their black colouration, so great to see you portrayed it correctly here. All in all a wonderful painting
