Description
I think I am going to participate in Inktober this year! I have never used ink before so thought I should give it a try first. I'm loving it!This was made with India ink, Bimoji brush pen and uni-ball Signo white pen.
I scanned this page but the scan didn't work so well, lots of extra bits of light came into the top of the scan I think. Probably because the paper was a little warped from the water. Next time I will scan and make sure I have some pressure on it. It's not too bad though.
I really messed up the rostrum on the orca. Tried to correct it with a white pen but it still looks bad XD OH WELL. FINISHED, NOT PERFECT.
ALSO, I bought myself a Moleskine sketchbook! I'm pretty excited about it! I've never owned a sketchbook that I liked the paper in, so have never used one (for more than 10 or so pages lol). This is my first work in my new book and I am loving it. I adore the cream pages and smooth, thick paper. I can't stand toothy paper!! That's all I have ever had in sketchbooks previously. Hopefully this book encourages me to actually use a sketchbook. I want to work in traditional art more, particularly ink, watercolour and maybe copic markers.
