[INSTALL ]ArchivedThe emoticon legend is huge, although it desperately needs an upgrade. This user style does just that!
THIS WILL REPLACE 340+ EMOTICONS!
This user style can be installed in these browsers:
- Mozilla Firefox 4+ (with Stylish for Firefox)
- Google Chrome (with Stylish for Chrome)
- Opera 15+ (with Stylish for Opera)
- Safari 5+ (with Stylish for Safari)

It's not compatible with the Beta. Don't use betas.
Technically, if you install the Add-On Compatibility Reporter and force it to install, it works enough to install the style >_>

Hey. I just wanted to ask something about the script. I wish to change some of the emotes to different ones and just wanted to know what the top padding number is in reference to? Is this the height of the old emote or the new one, or some number calculated another way? And am i correct in guessing width is the width of the new emote?

Here's the refresh of the

First segment: (you probably won't modify this)
img[src$="/path/to-emoticon.gif"] you can find this by looking at the address of the emoticon itself, in this case, http://e.deviantart.net/emoticons/f/fella.gif
Second segment: (this is important)
{height: 0 !important; this will never change; do not modify this!
width:19px !important; this is the width of the NEW emoticon (I'm sure you can find out what it is)
padding-top:19px !important; this is the height of the NEW emoticon (you can find this out too)
background:url(http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs13/f/2007/117/e/8/fella_by_bad_blood.gif) no-repeat !important} this is the exact URL of the image itself for the NEW emoticon. Make sure you keep the http:// intact!
Now pieced altogether again:
