[link]IT'S DONE. I sorta wish I'd had more time to polish things, BUT IT'S DONE.
This thing took me two months to do, and I actually like how it turned out.
So yeah, enjoy!

Favorited for the animation. My god is pretty. You established character incredibly quickly, and it reminded me of something that Dreamworks would put out, similar to Ice Age. Very smooth animation, and very clean. Loved the sound effects too.
I don't know if it was intentional, but the only nitpick I really have is that there's not enough of a feeling of swing in Marco's limbs. They move and stop, and it seems too... crisp, I guess. Though it does feel reptilian, and that might be what makes it feel like that. Hmm.

I do agree with you about the lack of arm swing thing, though. I just ran out of time. There were so many more little nuances that I wanted to put in but it came down to just getting the essentials in. >_<

thats really good. i love how each moment he has a great expression. are you studying at a college currently? and do you use maya to make your animation? alot of my animator friends use that, (im going into animation next year, so i've got to start using that too lol) seriously great job with this.

Wonderful animatrion sequence! As a side note, I was trying to view through AOL and the link did not work. I switched to a straight browser and was able to access the animation.
The animation clip could have come from any major studio movie - even better, you managed to tell a whole story in 26 seconds, while providing a good introduction to the character. The soundtrack was perfect - just enough to be 'real. Congratulations and good luck with the studios. You sure have a powerful 'calling card' to show.

This is so cute! Not to mention detailed with lovely sound effects! And Marco's expression all the way through was beautiful! Especially to have been done in two months!

Ohh very cool. Yeah, I admire your skills in animation, my current goal in life is to become a game designer/animator. I want to animate and design creatures and characters for games. However I don't know much about it yet and don't have a lot of money to spend on expensive programs.

Yeah, it is a bit hard to get into Ringling(especially if you're applying for computer animation). But half of it is just knowing what to put in your portfolio.
And yeah, they do give out a lot of work. It gets pretty stressful sometimes. xD These past two weeks were hell for me trying to get this animation done.

The artwork is wonderful - there is a Don Bluth quality to it, a richness of tone and character. How do you play the animation? I've tried cvlicking on everything I can find, but just get the static artowrk.
