Description
Original art created by Humon [link]I watched the original version and I liked it, but I just felt it was kinda incomplete. It needed more history in it.
So I decided to make a version of my own.
All rights goes to Humon of course and I hope she doesn't mind.
Schleswig Holstein (as it is called, don't know what the English name is, sorry) is the most northern state of Germany.
It was under Danish rule for a long time and sense Humon never created him in SATW I figured I had to make him my self. He's sister Germany and Denmark's kid.
Yeah, he had done her! XD
And if you wounder why At the second last image why there isn't an arrow pointing at Norway to Sweden is because at this time Norway was a country of his home and Sweden respected that and he let Norway be more and more independant till he finally let him go

Damn, i just wrote several lines of text, with historical info regarding Schleswig and Holstein and now it got deleted
Anyways, glad that you brought Schleswig into all of this
So i'll write it in short; Pre wars: Schleswig and Holstein are duchies and danish king is the duke. Although, German confedaration has supreme power in Holstein.
Post 1848-1850 war: More or less status quo.
Post 1864 war: Border is moved north to the KongeΓ₯, Denmark loses 2/5 of its size and about half the population
Post WW1: A referendum is held in Schleswig, northern part votes 70% danish and southern part 80% german.
Modern border is established.
Northern Schleswig is nowadays better known as SΓΈnderjylland, which is where i live

Cool! Schleswing-Holstein wasn't occupied by the Soviets either was it? It belonged to the Western part of Europe.

No, the Brits rushed for the baltic sea coastline, when they began to realize what the commies might would do, if they gained control.
A scary thought, if the soviet forces were the first to enter Schleswig-Holstein, they might would have been able to get their hands on Denmark, if not all of it, maybe the eastern parts.
A documentary from the 90's , based on the book "The Iron Curtain in Storebælt", showed how things might would have been, if Sjælland had become a communistic republic.
In reality, the USSR did have troops on Bornholm until 1946.

In a way, i would be fine with it, seeing as how us people from Jutland, don't see eye to eye with the ones living on Sjælland, or as we say "Djævleøen"
On the other hand, i'm born in the Frederiksberg part of Copenhagen

I see.
Denmark isn't a very big nation, by Geography. Isn't it very tight living there?

Depends on where you live. I myself live in the biggest town (apx. 7500 inhabitants) in one of the least inhabited areas. In a certain small area alongside the german border, the pop. density is just as low as the average of Sweden or Norway
Also, it's the flattest municipality in DK as far as i know, just the place for a "mountain monkey"

NOOOOOOOOO!
I hate it when it's flat! That's the worst thing about Denmark! It's flat!!!
We still love Denmark, but it's soooo flat

Last summer, my family and i were in Berchtesgarten in the southernmost Germany next to Austria, where we stayed in one half of a rented cabin, which was situated a bit above the valley floor and with a fantastic view of Watzmann(3. highest german mountain) and other peaks
I definitely liked staying there, but i would never want to do it for the most of my life.
I'd sure would begin to feel imprisoned, trapped and surrounded , no, i would much rather prefer an open view, without too many obstacles [link]

You mean, a good place to nuke?

Nukes in DK = unlikely, flooding due too global warming = increasingly likely too happen
Our house is no more than 2-3m above sea level, so if hhose politics people don't start making progress anytime soon, my "home" might be gone when im 90 years old
In the unlikely case, that all polar ice melts an the oceans rise 60m, then take a look at my poor country [link]

IF we don't keep holding it like this, we'll be heading for a ice age instead.
My point is that Nukes would cause big damage in Denmark, while Norway would just be waste of weapons to use on.
And that's also another point. We got mountains to run up to. So yeah... I just feel uncomfortable on flat areas. I've done it ever since I was little.

As far as i know, it's because humans started using agriculture and domesticating animals, that the ice age was kept at bay, but now we're overdoing it by releasing extra carbon, that has been isolated from the active carbon system for millions of years.
As for the nukes, the explosions would only have little effect with the mountains absorbing blast energy. But as of yet, certian countries, that shall remain unnamed, still have more than 5.000 nuclear devices, which is more than enough.
Hmmm, it seems as if we got a bit derailed now

I like the north better AFTER the Kalmar union thing. Latvia belonged to Sweden and I would have been happier, cuz I hate living in Latvia ... Because Sweden is COOL!

Nice job on the historical knowledge! Also, I'm pretty sure that the English name for Schleswig Holstein is the same.

Unless you have express permission from Humon herself, I don't think it's wise to post it here. Be wary of fans flocking here to harass you about it

I know. I thought about it, but then I also saw someone do an extended version on who's family they all belong to, so I decided to do this. If she doesn't like it I'll just take it down.
