Description I have always liked the 'The Naked Time' episode from Star Trek TOS, except the singing of Kathleen!  LOL!  Anyways, been wanting to do a Enterprise render for some time now.  I like how she turned out.  Hope you guys like too!

Hello:
It is an amazing render!  , but I didn't understand the title ... sorry .

Still, that model surely has to be quite high-poly because of such round shapes and details.

Glad you like the pic.  They title is a line from the episode 'The Naked Time'.  The line was quoted by Kirk and he is referring to his ship as a 'she'.  The polygon is 112,927.

Hello:
I may have to rewatch the original Star Trek series on day, as I watched it many years ago.

Keep it up with your great renders! .

The Enterprise is referred to as a she, like most, if not all Naval vessels.

You'd be surprised how little poly's are required to get a round shape.

Yeah, I know all (or most?) vessels are referred as a she, another example is the Galactica.

You are right about the shapes, but that also depends on the design. but out of curiosity, what is the poly-count of that Enterprise model?

I don't know for this particular model.

Hello:
Yeah, I must have gotten confussed and asked you the poly-count... whoops.

Oh wow, that poly-count is huge compared to the models I make, hehehe. But I can it works great for fancy renders and scenes like those you can make.

I do have a few other models that are even bigger, maybe 1 million. If I am not mistaken, the Battlestar that I make are a million poly each.

Hello:
Yeah, I was in contact with Tan.J a couple of years ago and he commented me about those many polygons.

I hope he'll get to see your renders one day.
