The Mighty Thunderer, Thor Odinson’s origins seem to vary according to who is telling the story, clouded even more by the many interpretations created by the inhabitants of Midgard. Though still nebulous in some parts, the most commonly accepted version is that one told by the man himself: Born as the first blood son of Odin and raised alongside his brothers and sisters as a heir to the land of Asgard, Thor was formed by his environment to become a noble warrior, albeit to a fault due to his consistent shows of arrogance and bravado both in-and-out of combat, something that only grew the older he became.
Despite this, Odinson’s intentions remain pure, in a sense. While always down for a good sparring session or actual combat, Thor’s sense of duty comes out of a desire to protect the weak (originating from his continuous adventures on the prehistoric Midgard and his growing fondness for humans), Thor’s adventures have varied over time, though most notably, in his many visits throughout the Nine Realms, his recklessness and spoiled behavior led to him both losing many invaluable Asgardian artifacts as well as causing and reigniting conflicts between the realms, most notably, his last adventure almost restarting the war between Asgard and Jottunheim.
Dissatisfied with his son’s increasing headstrong behavior, excessive pride and disregard for nothing but himself, Odin deemed Thor unworthy of his possessions, title and lastly, his powers and status as a god, casting him out and exiling him on Earth to reincarnate time and time again until he’s found worthy of his position.
Reborn constantly ever since the 13th century, Thor lived many lives as a human, though the most notable one would be his last, born 1975 on Jacksonville, Florida to Jake and Hannah Blake, young Donald Blake grew a relatively normal and boring life up until he was 17 when he suffered a muscular bruise in his right leg, leaving him with a permanent limp. Albeit affected, this prompted Donald to follow a career in medicine to support both his condition as well as help others suffering the same as he. Moving and later radicating in New York after finishing high school, Donald attended and graduated with a master doctorate and a specialization on traumatology in Columbia University.
Donald would go to work on Saint Mark's Hospital under Keith Kincaid’s medical team as a trainee, in that time frame, meeting again with an old peer of his, Jane Foster, now working on the hospital as part of their paramedic unit. His time in Saint Mark’s would ultimately become short as months after, Donald would apply to become a part of Médecins Sans Frontières, prompted mostly to do so after taking part in first-response in the events of 9/11, in so Blake was allowed to travel across the world. While on a brief stay in Norway before heading to Afghanistan in 08’, Donald alongside his crew became aware of this tourist attraction near the hills they’d later visit.
While visiting it Blake began hearing chants in the distance, prompting him to follow where they came from eventually finding it to come from a small cave not too long from where he was, inside being a small hammer. Feeling it almost called to him, Donald lifted the hammer and was transformed back into his old veneer of the Norse God of Thunder, Thor.
With his memories of both his current life and those that preceeded it, Thor's devotion for protection came back as well. Though invited to become a part of the pantheon once again, Thor instead decided to turn Midgard into his new home by becoming it's champion, a protector for the place that had seen him be reborn for the last centuries.
- Mjolnir: Forged on the Asgardian metal known as Uru by the Dwarves of Nidavellir as a gift for Odin originally, the small-hammer has since become Thor's signature weapon in battle. It works as a energy-chaneller, transporting Thor's powers through itself in a less-volatile manner. Through out the years, the Hammer has been enchanted many times by Odin, expanding it's abilitties to a connection to the Rainbow Bridge allowing it to move it's user to any of the Nine Realms, energy sensing and speak translation via the All-Speak.

Trivia and Tidbits:
- Not long after recieving back his powers, Donald's stay in Alfghanistan ended after an altercation forced him to turn into Thor and cast a thunderstorm to protect his co-workers. The weather change caused by the storm would help in the escape of a captive not too far from their camp.
- In his many adventures, Odinson was once turned into a frog by his half brother, the trickster god of mischief Loki.
- Having returned to New York in 09', Thor rekindled his relationship with Jane Foster, having been on a on-and-off relationship with her ever since.
- Aside from Donald Blake, one of Thor's many prominent reincarnations were that of Germanic heroes, Sigmund and Sigfried, as well as Beowulf himself.
- One of the many lost artifacts Thor lost was that of Megingjord, a magical belt capable of changing it's appearence to suit it's user that would double their natural strength, stamina, speed and durability.
- Despite having regained his past memories, Thor still maintains a healthy relationship with the Blake's, often staying over their home in-between adventures.
