Description For NationStates; Modeled in DoGa with custom parts created in MetaSequoia and textures by the Doc.

----

The Papillon-Class Strategic Cruiser is the shield and the bow of the Unknown Islands Fleet, acting as theater defense for both the Island CityState and for battle groups underway. To accomplish this it carries three of the most advanced weapon systems available in the form of a primitive but powerful directed energy weapon capable of engaging targets in the high atmosphere. These units are large, expensive, and electricity-hungry thus the Papillon-Class is also the first Unknown Islands warship powered by a full nuclear power plant. As the bow, it also carries the matching deterrent in an arsenal of medium-range Long Jump ballistic missiles. Because both the super-computers that provide targeting for the turrets and ensure their steady operation are constantly evolving and improving in capability, they have been containerized and mounted in intermodal slide-outs in the forward superstructure. A central super-deep well behind the steam stacks houses the ballistic missile launch containers, again allowing easy upgrade as the Long Jump II becomes available.

Secondary wells are located on the port and starboard rear wing and at the bow. The most frequent load-out is a mix of long-endurance drones and their launchers in the flank wells and secondary communications gear to then allow these to act as ultra-long range spotters for the warship's ordinance. Because of the advanced communications gear necessary to coordinate Fleet defense, the Papillon also makes a capable and in some cases superior flagship than the poorly thought-out Super Dreadnought. Ultimately it would also be one of the last classes of naval warship built by the Unknown Islands before the resolution of events on Alice and the invalidation of terrestrial naval forces.

So I guess you and Ro already have an ending written (and does it conflict with previous writeups here, and does it actually stay steady for more than thirty minutes at a time)?

First I've heard of an official ending planned out. So far as I know we're just responding to what we each do.

So the answer is "no."

It is possible that fiction might embrace reality or that things will go completely off the rails. For the most part I just write fluff as to how I see things going at that particular moment so yes, every half-hour or so (or at least every time one of us posts) things change. Which is fine. And fun. Like a choose-your-own adventure where it all ends up being 'Shia LaBeouf'.

Actual cannibal Shia LaBeouf?
