An aft view of the luxury Qasr-Class Pinnace lifting off from Hanson's Kneecap in the Parson's Shoal System. To capitalize on the existing engineering, Liquid would take the primary hull and armor structure, upgrade the second to the multi-layer composite used by regular line starships, replace some of the over-sized quarters with weapon emplacements while re-configuring others for multiple occupants, place an armored shutter over the horseshoe viewing windows, and finally add a sophisticated but specialized sensor array. This would be dubbed the Anomaly-Class Sloop and, with a new regulation paint job, find some acceptance as a mine-hunter, law enforcement cutter, and complementary explorer. Many of these would be acquired by Republic Client and Federal States who wanted vessels compatible with the regular Republic Fleet but that could or did not want to pay the much larger outlay associated with front-line starships.
