Fort Twily is stocked with enough provisions for all of Ponyville to remain under siege for up to four days, at which point they'd still have nine weeks of food and water left, but Twilight will have read all the books in the fort library and will start to go stir crazy.

This was originally going to be a multipanel comic. The mane six and Shining would be picnicking and he would be trying to tell about how Twily used to build these little forts out of books and how it was just adorable. Spike would snort at the "used to" and ask her to show him the latest one. After a little hesitation, Twilight would order Spike to open all the library doors, and she would do the whole "eyes go white" magic thing. Pinkie Pie would go into a tour guide schpiel while Rarity's parents arrived out of nowhere being touristy.

I got lazy.

You don't want to know how much time I spent detailing the shrubbery around the front door before realizing that with my light source the fort was going to be casting a shadow on the tree...
