Every so often I come across someone on Deviantart doing a sketch page. I was inspired, so I drew up this page of scribbles of the Mouse that started it all. Tell me what you think. The more depressed pictures there are along the same lines as this other one I did. [link]Related content

Ya if only they'd do something like that again. They are making a new Goofy short, (How to Install Your Home Theater), but I'm not sure it'll have the same punch. I'm still excited, but I hope they do something that mind blowing (at least for a Disney short) again.

It's silly that they don't, or haven't since...because they proved that they can obviously make a cool short. I just hope the new ones don't look like House of Mouse.

Ya that's true. House of Mouse wasn't a bad idea, it just wasn't implemented to it's full potential. Plus the shorts seemed to be more about deconstructing and making fun of the Disney formula. And cartoons in general, from a lot of the shorts I saw. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either, and Runaway Brain showed that they could've done a lot better.

I do like how, as you render someone else's creation, some of your own personal style bleeds through.
You visual style is very nearly flawless, but the writing in your comics needs work.
Look over my comics and if you think I know what I'm talking about when it comes to writing, I'll go through your stuff and offer an in-depth and lengthy appraisal.

I found it on YouTube, but unfortunately the only one still there is the one where the sound cuts out. If anybody's interested, it's on the Walt Disney Treasures Mickey Mouse in Living Color Vol 2 dvd set.

You know what's o-so weird? I sat down last night and thought 'what can I draw?' I ended up doing a page full Mickey Mouse sketches. Aaaah!!! Freaky you should post this now.

With Disney stuffs I generally try to stay true to the way the characters are always drawn. I've always had this thing where I try to get the Disney characters looking how they're supposed to look. I guess because Disney was my first true teacher.
