I draw as much as possible with pencil (at least the characters, I try to do the background too, but I often realize too late that I want to move a few things around, which is a lot easier if I haven't done the background yet) and do the coloring and shading digitally (because again, I'm super indecisive and like to try different lighting and coloring ideas). Anytime I've tried to do all digital, everything just looks all stiff and bland; not to mention it will take me 10x longer to finish.

Look up New Rock boots, they're definitely pricey but are actually worth the money for a pair of boots that will pretty much never fall apart. And I'm the type of person who will manage to wear a pair of shoes into the ground in a less than a month. Not to mention that they look awesome. X3
