Sort of a redo. I sort of drew this before but with no background or anything. But I was messing around with how Fluffy and Requiyen stalk meet Vilkas, and I wanted to draw it more how they actually approach him. Completely creeping him out just to fuck with him.-----------------------------------------

Aww, yay! Vilkas has pretty much always been my favorite (he's actually the one I've had the longest). Stalking people is somewhat of a hobby for them XD. Requiyen does come on to him, but it's more so just to get a reaction out of him, rather than serious interest (not that he would object if his flirting paid off, but he's not expecting it to). Fluffy has little interest in anything more than a platonic relationship with anyone.

It reminds me of the broken down part of our resort town. Like, i'm fairly sure you've probably heard of Wisconsin Dells? (okay maybe not, it's not like it's that famous) But theres an area south of there that used to be the main attraction areas, with camp grounds and small amusement parks and such. All of that was, i guess, on its way out when i was a kid, but i remember it so dearly. Theres nothing there now but broken down buildings and abandoned parks, people stopped going when the bigger parks went in North of there and they just fell apart. This world you've made reminds me kinda of how it probably looks now. Still good, but faded and used, but still capable of good memories.

I may have hear of there, the name sounds vaguely familiar, but I haven't been up to the Great Lakes area in years. I think the main influence for me when I draw these sort of places is the divey bars I love, especially the old country bars my parents used to take me to as a kid; they're dark and weathered but have this nice lived-in feeling to them.

Yes! We have those too! There used to be one called "Cozy inn" and it always smelled like bitter cigarette smoke in there and they kept the dumpster inside so the raccoons wouldnt get into it, so there was just a steel dumpster sitting between the bathroom doors! They had those glittery red vinyl seats on the booths and bar stools. But it was like, duct taped together and faded. The bar stools all sat at wonkey angles and squeaked if you tried to spin them. It was hazy in there because it was well before they banned smoking inside. Any more i dont think we have places like that anywhere near by. The closest one i can thing of is about an hour north of here, a truck stop that has AMAZING food!!

There are a few around where I live, though around here it's mostly the punk and metal bars that are like that; but they still have that Texas/Mexican country bar feel mixed with the more alternative aspects (kind of hard to explain, around here it's just a given for there to be that influence, but to other people it seems really odd), you have to drive a bit outside of town to find the the real country ones, any in town are just gimmicky, try-to-hard to be stereotypical ones that are just tourist traps.

Kinda like how the bars are described in Dark tower? Where they were modern once and now appear faded with a bit of the wild trying to reclaim them? It would be so cool to see places like that, but i worry i would look so out of place there O_O I mean, i basically live in baseball jerseys and mens jeans. They'd think i'm some kinda weirdo ._. The closest we have near by is a place called Pete's bar, in Evansville. Its a dive but very beloved by the blue collar crowd in that town. It's more so that they're old and more so still have that 'Texas saloon' feel to them but then the music that they play is metal/rock/punk (either just playing over the stereo or live bands), the bar tenders are often goth girls and big metalhead dudes, and the patrons have slapped punk band stickers everywhere. Like I said, it's normal to everyone here (which is why it's hard to explain), but people from elsewhere seem to think it's very strange to see that crossover of metal/punk/country.

That is EXACTLY the kind of place i would go to!! O_O Wow what as awesome place! The one i was speaking of dont even come close! It was literally a windowless apartment in the lower level of a bigger building, where the ceiling tiles and walls were smoke and grease stained!

Another one of my favorites, was this underground barrel-vault pub somewhere in Nebraska. We kind of just came across it by chance when passing through. I really wish I could remember the name or at least what town, but it was so long ago :/

It sucks that memories get so foggy with time! Like, it may not even look exactly like the memory anymore and whatever little change it may have had might be enough to make it unrecognizable! I've never been out west, only east and south..i live in the north, so thats what i know best.. most of our more eclectic bars have an unhealthy amount of taxidermy in them and it scares visitors XD hahah

I wish i could sleep in cars! No matter how tired i am, i can never seem to sleep! I've been on several overnight trips before and i get so car sick if i dont watch the road...well, between that and being deeply interested in where i am... i dont sleep
