May you explain why? Are you really trying to say that the DPRK is a workers paradise that it's propaganda projects itself as. If it was why has ever person that has escaped from the nation said that its horrible, that theres almost no freed. No freedom of speech, religion, to wear what you want, watch what you want, to travel or leave the nation. If people speak against the government their ether going to go to a re-education facility, work camp or a worst Hard labor camp/ Gulag where they would be starved or worked to death.
The DPRK is a very special nation from ever other nation on earth, it's the best example of an Orwellian totalitarian state. Hell if it were to be renamed Oceania it would fit perfectly.

Oh come on, don't tell me you aren't aware of the reactionary history of religion considering that it has subjugated ethnic minorities, women, LGBTs and people with disabilities. Not to mention the history of Korea being bombed during the Korean war.
The best you've got against the DPRK/North Korea is that they have no internet which is actually true. They could really use internet connection but they don't have the resources for it. Why? Because they've been bombed so hard and placed sanctions on by the West just for refusing to kowtow to US interests.

I'm not a religious man I and yes I do know religions history of abuses such as Muslims imprisoning africans and turining them into slaves, or Christians forcing their religions onto africans to "civilize" them. Even then I still believe that every person should have the right to practice and believe in the religion they chose as long as they don't push it onto the others or use it to cause violence. This is a problem I have with many communist state from history, their violent stance towards oppression of religion, make the government secular don't impose state Atheism.
What little money the DPRK dose get form exports or aid from china seemingly goes either into the personal needs of the upper party members such as fine foods, cognac, and Mercedes cars. Or is spent on military needs, even though in the country side the people desperately need food due to there farmland being made useless because oof poor government planing. We see in documentaries that journalists shoot in between the idolized picture the government wants the nation to be shown as there barren factories, homeless, and an all around bleak and barren nation.
Is this all to blame on western nations blockading it, a little. Embargoes never seem to help a situation such as in Cuba which thankfully were starting to normalize relations with. Even then the North korean government would still waste its money. And if you wanna talk about religion oppressing people, Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il have pretty much been turened into gods, if you say anything critical about them you'll be arrested, and they rigorously have their lives and ideas taught in school as if it were a religion.

Leninism is not the only form of socialism there is; there's autonomous Marxism, council communism, anarchism, etc. Meanwhile capitalism and imperialism have caused the vast majority of deaths since their inception 200 years ago.
