Bucky Barnes, WWII veteran and hero, thought fallen in battle, but his bravery earned him a dearer price to pay then his arm, or those he fought along side.

He became the double agent of double agents, the assassin who's infamy went on through numerous life times at the whim of the tyranic force he once faught; Hydra.

Now freed from his tether to their mind wiping labs, and behavior augmenting treatments, he works undoing the damage he'd done as a living robot as a special ops ghost.

Now part of the Unlikely Band, he helps them face off against numerous foes including the nearly immortal Deathstroke, an assassin who in his world has been all but unbeatable.

The Winter Soldier must prevent Deathstroke's Strike Force from succeeding in securing the world bender to open up more portals, before the heroes find themselves overwhelmed by adversaries from all of their worlds.
