Yep, in truth, she was going to be sacrificed in a ritual that involved her sins essentially suffocating her to death from the manifested guilt, and she felt she deserved it (Baron Mordo is to blame). Β She thought she had to do it to save the hostages she was assigned to rescue from Hydra, she was chasing down old ghosts from her past you see. Β
Anyway, Ghost Rider arrived and prevented him from making the pact ritual take place and was able to bare half of them during it so she wouldn't waist away, which intertwined their souls for a time, and together they beat Baron Mordo, then traveled the world together for a time to find a way to sever the tie to each other and along the way found each other falling for each other.
She was his reminder of what happiness with someone could be, and he was a fallen angel who looked at her and saw beauty inspite of what she was, and didn't care how painful it was to love her, same with her to him. Β They wouldn't have to worry about dying or growing old, and couldn't really hurt each other, and were on each others straight forward wave length.Β
As a result, even when Doctor Strange was able to cut the tie, the stayed with each other, and have ever sinceΒ

Now in truth, the Ghost Rider curse/mark is not hereditary, so i don't know if it could be passed down. Β HOWEVER, the fact the Rider's been the way he has for so long, I imagine that right down to his physical genes he's a developed a luster for adapting to supernatural change, so that could mean that he indeed could be more prone to magic USAGE than anything, i just don't think he'd have any magic POWERS.
Unless of course that was his other mutant trait, using magic energy like Scarlet Witch

well I was thinking the magic aspect would be taught and maybe if the child was conceived with the father in ghost rider form might effect some of the genes, but it would almost make the kid half mutant half angle/spirit of vengeance with magic skills taught by doctor strange

Again since the Ghost Rider astral presence doesn't work like that if anything it would just mean that he'd have more of an affinity for the arcane than normal people , still it could work

Yup. I'm an actress and I was planning to audition for that role, but came to the conclusion that since she was 14 in OOTP and I was 11 and a half at the time auditions were being held, my chances of getting the role were not worth the travel expenses.
