Description Here is my tutorial for Rings(2) and Curl...

If you have any questions feel free to leave them here or note me...

With this tutorial you can make some bright/shiny/brilliant fractals...

Here is the link to the version I used [link]

It is also at the bottom of my journal

I hope this helps you make great fractals

I also want to thank all of the testers of this tutorial

They made it much better

I can figure everything out about this tut except for the color symmetry. I have looked in both Apo 2.09 as well as Apo 7x, but it just isn't easy to find it. I am not sure which version you are using, but I did find the show/hide variation preview but can't really move the "ball" around. Any help on that would be awesome!! Otherwise great help, I am already coming up with some great fractals with you tips on moving the Transforms around at a low number.

Wow...

This tutorial is so old...

I am glad that it has been of some help to you...

You have to look at playing with other things in the newer versions...

You may want to check out ApoShack...

Or other Apo Places...

I am so happy that you have been able to use something that I have done..

I finally figured it out by googling it. It turns out that they don't call it color symmetry but rather color speed. I guess they renamed it and it just took a little while to find it. Still glad that you have the tut on and appreciate the hard work even though it is old.

Oh yes google our best friend

I often wonder why they change the names of things in revisions

I guess sometimes it make more sense or maybe someone had interpreted something in a different way and decides that it is better

I'm glad you like the tutorial

Agreed. Sometimes I wonder how we used to live without google. It has even invaded our very language.

It still doesn't make much sense why they changed it to color speed because that still doesn't make much sense logically. Oh well, I am not the developer/ programmer so I am glad that I ran across that blog in the net to explain it.

Sorry, but I can't find the link. I even googled it (apophysis 2.05 beta2 c++ z++) and it came up empty! (That's a first for google!)
Forgive me for sounding ignorant, I'm new to apo and fractals. Could you possibly post a link pleeeeeeeease?

No, I mean being able to create my own pictures, instead relying on it being completely random.

aahh...

that makes sense...

I do like to start with a blank flame...

and then just create...

the random stuff is just... meh...
