Description
People keep asking me for those old hair tutorials I used to have.I don't want to take them back out because they are no longer relevant and I've found a better way, so it makes no sense to me in sharing an inferior, more uninformed method to you.
This is how I color hair now, and what's even better? I draw my own stuff for my tutorials. That is more huge to me than you'd probably understand.

This. This is the kind of tutorials I'd like to see more of. Instead of just the usual step-by-step guide on how to color a specific picture it also explains how and why. It's a tutorial that actually teaches how to draw (hair, in this case) beyond an often very limited scope.
Good job.

Love how your color streaks actually look like color streaks instead of bits of neon.

I like this tutorial, and I like your cynical tone throughout it. It makes it more fun to read.

Ah, I really wish I knew how to color with darker colors first. I just cannot grasp it. Oh well, this is still really helpful, thanks for the tutorial c:

I couldn't grasp it for years, either. It's really hard to make a transition from one coloring method to the other. It took me trying a few times until I finally got it. I used to shade from light to dark all the time and couldn't make sense of dark to light but nei gave me a hand with that and it did work. Try it a few times, and you'll fail at it a few times but after those few times you'll realize that it's the easier way of the two
