Khonsu is a male albino bobcat, named after the god of the moon due to his striking white fur. As a young cat he often found himself awake at night when the light wasn't so harsh, and would wander into the craft den to watch the crafters work. He was fascinated by the intricate designs they created and the way they transformed simple materials into beautiful, functional objects. As he grew older, he began to assist the crafters in their work, learning the basics of leatherwork. Eventually, he became an acolyte to the previous Head Crafter and honed his skills in these areas.
As Khonsu grew older, he realized that if he wanted to become a great crafter, he needed to learn more than just leatherwork. He started to observe the other crafters in Pride Akhet, often sneaking into their workshops at night to watch them work. He was fascinated by their skills in stoneworking, beadwork, and weaving.
At first, the other crafters were wary of him, seeing him as a young cat with little experience. However, Khonsu was persistent, and he would often ask the other crafters for tips and advice. Slowly but surely, he began to learn their trades.
He spent countless hours practicing, and often made mistakes along the way. But with each mistake, he learned something new. Over time, Khonsu became proficient in stoneworking, beadwork, and weaving, in addition to his leatherwork and leather-dyeing skills.
When the previous Head Crafter of Pride Akhet retired, Khonsu was a natural choice to take over. His strict attention to detail and willingness to learn had earned him the respect of the other crafters, and his skill was second to none.
As Head Crafter, Khonsu continues to expand his knowledge of crafting, and is always looking for new ways to improve his skills and create beautiful works of art.
