If you have not yet read Bill Willingham's Fables, you are missing out on life. For anyone who ever heard the stories of the Big Bad Wolf or Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in their childhood and grew up.....sort of. The story is decidedly for adults and it is well written, well drawn and overall and absorbing read.This is my little tribute to an awesome pairing: Bigby Wolf, the chainsmoking ,wolf in man's clothing, Sheriff of Fabletown and Madam District Attorney,the untouchable ice queen, Snow White.

Yeah, it's a really great series. It's a bit like Mother Goose meets Strangers in Paradise and I really dig on the characters.

Oh gosh a friend of mine lent me the first three volumes of Fables and I just read the first one. The hardboiled banter between Snow and Bigby is so much fun. They're a great pair.

I finished the third volume of Fables the other night and will absolutely have to bug my friend for the rest (hopefully he has them!). And oh my Lord, talk about a bombshell there with Snow and Bigby. Eep.
You can expect Snow/Bigby fanart from me in the future. And I'm sure the Lady Re will adore the series as well, if she's anything like you and me, lol.
