Description
The full title is, "Fear and Loathing in the Afterlife: A strange tale of the putrid bile of life plummeted into the fiery anus of the beyond".....and it's because I love Hunter S. Thompson and his bizarre, painful and acidicly eye opening pen. He, the Gonzo Prince, shall be missed, but long live Johnny Depp for keeping the memory alive with "The Rum Diaries."Related content

I read six of his books and see in his eyes the collapse of the American Dream, an increasing immersion in shit from year to year, there is no decline in the total of alleged that in the '60s could change society for the better. Strong work.

by far one of the best tributes to HST and Fear and Loathing I've seen so far. It's original and perfectly chaotic.
definite fav

I love how colourful this is. I guess I was so hung up on your Phantom art that this slipped by me, somehow. Great work.

Thank you very much! Yeah, it certainly is a little far out of my usual color scheme... with the Phantom stuff, at least.

It's more realistic and accurate, cause I'm not very good yet with watercolor... This is one of my first works... I'm not good enough to create my own pose etc... By the way, my mamma loved your painting and she's a professional artist...So go on like that and please tell me what you think of my painting !

Truly, honestly, one of the greatest artistic odes to Thompson I've ever seen. Probably -the- greatest.
It's busy, vibrant, saturated and the dragging markers in the background give it that slightly disjointed effect that his writing, itself, has.
I can't, really, explain how awsome it really is.

Thank yeh kindly. I really get sucked into his work and like many, it leaves me in the vapor trail of what must have been spinning nonstop through his be-booney hatted head.
I wanted to pay tribute. Glad to see other fans out there.

What?! No comments yet? Well I think it's worth plenty of praise! You did a very good job with the colors and the style of this drawing! It really conveys the feeling of a bad high. Not to mention that Hunter S. Thompson was one of this centuries greatest writers of all time. Very nice work!
