Description
A tattooed Opera Ghost as a submission to PFN's Modern Phantom art contest. The premise is that our dear Erik is a rebel in his own right for the period because his mask is socially unacceptable, and that translates into body modification for me in that one or two small pieces is generally accepted, but sleeves and backpieces still manage to raise eyebrows. Also, the self-inflicted ink strikes me as something this version would do without batting an eyelash::grins:: Heh....the Christine in this world would most likely be an Old Navy kid, very suburban, but haunted.Related content

Aha! Yes! That is the tail end of a grasshopper! I was grumbling about it earlier because I didn't think anyone would see it. Thank you.

Absolutely brilliant work! The tattoos in particular are very convincing and whole piece has a raw, edgy feel that really breaths life into it. You're sure to make a splash in the contest!

Here's hoping. ::grins:: Thanks ever so much. I was kind of leery about letting so much color seep into a Phantom piece, but EVERY tattoo parlour that I've ever graced has the most obnoxious decor...go punk rock.

Ah; I love how you made every tattoo his has symbolic of something. And the blood about him is supurbly done. And I also adore how you never seem to give him the same coloured eyes;an original concept.
Yes. I can see Christine being alot like that. XP

Merci. It took forever to draw the little details. The piece of music, in case you're wondering, is "Point of no Return".

I would never have the patience to do something as detailed as this. X.x
Hah! that's awesome. I have absolutly no musical teachings, so I probably would have never found that out. XP

It doesn't synch up exactly, which is irritating, but not crucial to the understanding of the piece.

You and your damn leopard printing backdrops.
The tattoos themselves came out fabulously. They look like tats, that is.

Ahehheh...I do love me some gawdy prints, don't I?
Thanks, that means a bunch since I still recall a critique from you on an ooooold piece of a punk girl with a backpiece leftover from when I was still trying to make friends. Shot me down into a pile of flaming rubble.
It was great.
Thank you Poptart.
I learned.

Y'know...I was still in that despirately insecure "I hope she doesn't think I'm a spaz" stage. Now that we've determined that I am, indeed, an incorrigible spaz and you haven't run screaming, we're good.::laughs::
