Description Trash Mask series

This is an exploration of gender presentation through found object fashion often pairing models with masks that do not fit them. In example, female masks and clothing styles on male models and vice versa.

The bottom line is, we must all remove the masks that do not fit us, no matter how painful the extraction may be.

The mask is made of newspaper and glue in the usual manner. The corset is made of scraps from other dead corsets.

Nice work. I make fiber glass masks similar to yours. Check out my gallery.

Thanks very much.

Your masks are gorgeously creepy! Absolutely amazing work. How heavy are they?

Where do you find your hardware?

They're pretty light. I usually scavenge through urban recycling stores for parts.

Thanks
