I finally got the chance to take a photo of this, and the camera destroyed the details. I had to use some stuff in photoshop to save the clarity, but hey, it looks like its original colors, so I guess it worked. :/

This was an art project for school last year. We were supposed to draw an animal that represents us/an animal that we love in pastels. I couldn't choose between the Common Raven (corvus corax) or the Jackson's Chameleon (chamaeleo jacksonii), so I did both.

Time estimate: Somewhere between seven and ten hours spread out over a week or two.

Materials: Pastels and pastel pencils

Reference used: Looked at the cover of my science teacher's animals book for some of the Jackson's Chameleon's scale patterns. Other than that, no references were used.
