He despises Captain America the most he's a huge fan of war and history. He thinks Captain America insults WW2 as a whole by being "childish nonsense"Β

He would be fine if Captain America was left alone and never got involved with rest of Superhero antics. Aka Cap fighing fictional aliens/ super power beings, he thinks that's offensive. Historians and comic companies love to overexaggerate it's appeal to soldiers, since they don't want to mention the less than stellar way soldiers did to raise their spirits.

I think garth is a great writer particular his war stories are great. When he does usperheroes it's clear he's only doing it for a paycheck and make sure you know it. Even with his dark parody of The Boys show great characterization for the main characters and main villain Homelander. The latter is definitely how you make the ultimate anti Superman: a man child with carely only about being seen as a hero, when reminded of limitations he's cries, refuses to take responsibilities for his actions, and above all else wants everyone to know he's in charge. The exact opposite of Superman even when making fun of Superman Garth puts more effort into it because he understands Superman and knows how the character works, unlike the other heroes who are 1 dimensional Β

Really that's the one where he's the least offensive to superheroes sicne the heroes from what we see are still good people and mostly in character. Most importantly the book is showing how psychotic Punisher really is. When he's working with other stuff like when he wrote for the justice league, where everyhero but superman were self absorbed (this book also when canon)

Bendis is known for hating a lot of heroes and will ruin their continuity. Another reason people we're scared when Bendis was writing Superman because he had a public history of dissing Superman calling him a mary sue. So it was NO Surprise the book ended up sucking Β

no problem, at least you were like this other person who for some reason thinks replying to someone means your automatically disagreeing and trying to start a fight

I really don't know what was up with that guy, he made a list of reasons why he thought Civil War 2 sucked and I replied by adding more reasons why it sucked and explanding on his point making it a stronger case for why the book sucked. Yet with how responded to me you think I insulted his mother and wanted to fight him for no reasonΒ

That's the thing though he clearly read my comment and knew I was agreeing with him, yet he was treating the mean act of replying to him like I was challenging him to a fight. Example of how it went
He: "Captain Marvel is acting unreasonable she doesn't know if this future crap is correct. So why is the book siding with her?!"
Me: "Yeah, let's not forget even before the fighting occurred she stopped 'future crimes' that were proven to be false. why is the book siding with her if it has already shown she's in the wrong. Wouldn't have made more sense if these were proven true, thus in Captain Marvel's mind justifying it because it hasn't been proven wrong."
Him: "WHY THE HELL ARE YOU REPLYING TO ME!" Β Β
