Across town, Jena was closing up the diner for the day. She nodded her head in tune with her music coming from her ear buds. As she swept the floor, she sang to herself, ignoring the knock on the door. The knocking became louder and more demanding, and finally got her attention, causing her to turn around. Reconizing the woman standing outside, Jena sighed uneasily as she removed her ear buds and walked over to the door.

"I'm sorry Ma'am, but we're closed," Jena said through the door.

"Oh I think you can let me in for a moment," Amber said. "I only want to talk... as friends," Amber added with her best smile.

"I'm sorry, I can't do that," Jena replied. "Not even just to talk."

"Then how about you come out here," Amber suggested.
