"Stop," Randy rasped as he felt pressure blocking his airways. "I... I surrender." Scarlet's grip tightened blocking off any air. "I... I give." James stared in shock. He saw Scarlet's mouth curl into a grin as she continued to squeeze the life from Randy.

"Wait!" James shouted, suddenly rushing up to Scarlet. "What are you doing?"

"He drew a weapon," Scarlet said, a low rumble sounding deep in her throat. She kept her eye on Randy as she added "He meant to kill."

Anxiety went through James as he saw the look in Scarlet's eyes; she was going to kill Randy.

"Please stop," James pleaded grabbing Scarlet's arm. Finally, Scarlet looked down at James as he added. "It's wrong."
