Scarlet gripped the security guard from behind, and with a quick twist, snapped the guards neck.The guard went rigid and then fell limply into her arms. She turned to the staircase and dragged the guard into the opening. Scarlet lay the man down behind the staircase and ascended the stairs, and then she suddenly stopped.

"Something's not right," Scarlet whispered into the earpiece.

"What's wrong?" James asked.

"I told Amber I was coming," Scarlet said. "There should be more guards."

"Scarlet, Jena's life is on the line and you're worried about the lack of security?" James' voice buzzed.

"I just have a bad feeling I'm walking into a trap," Scarlet whispered as she started moving again. She walked up the stairs to the fifth floor.

"Ok, I'm on the fifth floor," Scarlet whispered. "Which way?"

"Third door on your left," James replied.
Scarlet turned. It's too easy, Scarlet thought as she walked down the hall.
