Description
This painting is based off of my reaction to the Mogwai song "Hunted By a Freak". I listened to this song throughout the entire process (24+ hours including the thought process/planning). This is done in oil paints on illustration board.Related content

oh wow. this is one of the most amazing things i've seen!!! the hair completely floors me and WOW. the softness and the intense colours. i love how her hair is..hanging and the rest of the body is not seen. oh man. i keep scrolling up and staring in awe. i'm going to have to go listen to that song now.

This is a simply stunning image, and a highly effective illustration. Very powerful. The anatomical quality of this image stands out because quite a few of your other drawings show signs of serious distortion. Obviously you are learning very quickly. Perhaps overachiever is a very good name for you. So refreshing to see someone who is prepared to put in the hard work to master a traditional medium in this way. Well done.

Wow! I love the colors and values on this piece, and that's a seriously well done face. The hair looks a bit stiff, though. But heck, it's still oodles better than I can do with paint. You're talented to the extreme.
