Ha, yes! One of the best scenes, ever! I've used it more than once myself (in various different ways). Closely followed by the runner up, when Scotty tries to get the Holodeck going, "The android at the bar said you could show me my old ship. Let me see it. (...) Show me the bridge of the Enterprise, you chatterin' piece of..."

Thank you, and yes it was. Seeing some nice action shots of the Enterprise and what it was capable of was a rare thing in TNG; the scale models they used to shoot with were just too limiting.

Too bad they never made another episode with the Dyson Sphere.

Very true, that would have been really nice to see. It's a fascinating concept all by itself!

Thank you. I had to do this after watching that episode. I had tried before, but a couple years ago I did not have the skill base it seemed...

the dialogues between Geordi and Scotty... brilliant not to forget Data and Scotty... synthetical Scotch, synthetical Commanders... that episode was brilliant

Yeah, I particularly like the one about the auxiliary deuterium tank and when Geordi questioned that it won't hold due to pressure when the flow is diverted, Scotty states that he wrote that and that an engineer is always a bit conservative, at least on "paper". Wonderful scene!

Scotty: Th' plasma intacooler's gone, th' engines ar' overheatin'! It's comin' apart laddie, I can't do anythin' else!
Geordi: Enterprise we're not gonna be able to move this ship by the time you arrive. You're gonna have to destroy it in order to escape!
(following made up by me)
Scotty: Dey got a minute ta git here before th' shields fail and can git us. Dey better have th' transporter room standin' by and he better be good, for yer sake laddie!
Geordi: What talk is that? Of course he'll get you too! O'Brien's distinguished!
Scotty: *shrugs* I done spent my share o' time workin' miracles laddie. You haven't. I see ya still gots more ta work, an Captain Picard needs you as much as ole Kirk needed me.

It certainly ranks pretty high. Which episode is on #1?

I think my all time favorite is actually a tie between Tapestry and Measure of a Man, can't ever decide lol, and it'll change next week.

Sounds good to me, although given those two as a choice I'd go for "Measure of a Man". "Tapestry" was nice, but there were better Q-pisodes.
