the first round of adopts from this grid, which is open and ready for anyone who wants to buy a remaining slot!!

I'll be posting these slightly differently than last time, where I just kinda grouped the adopts randomly as I finished them. Instead this time I'll be posting them in sets of fours and each batch will be one row from the grid...which means if someone buys the last Gilda and/or Autumn Blaze slot I'll post those rows!! Otherwise, you can check out my patreon where I post high res images of all the adopts as I make 'em :3

One last thing before we get into the design notes: I'm gonna release a NEW adopt grid soon! But I have three possibilities, so I need your help. You can vote on which one I do next here! two are close and one is probably gonna lose, but I'll keep all the grids as future possibilities

ANYWAY!! ONTO THE NOTES:

1) Moon Cookie (Pinkie x Luna)
The commissioner requested a cookies and cream theme which I hope I kinda pulled off. She DOES remind me of an oreo so I'm gonna consider that a win. Her cutie mark is some kinda jelly moon cookie that definitely probably exists SOMEWHERE right?

2) Stellaluna (Twilight x Luna)
I went with a "nerd princess" kinda theme with her, she's kinda tall and lanky and awkward. Those galaxy manes are fun but tough because no matter how I do them I can never get them to look the same way twice so I just kinda throw colors and sparkles at it till it looks good. I really like how her cutie mark turned out, especially how it looks ON her. Unrelated but I also really like Twiluna it was one of my favourite ships for the first couple seasons...
3) Moon Stitch (Rarity x Luna)
I was SO nervous that cutie mark was going to look creepy but it turned out fine and I'm just a little nervous nelly. I think her mane shifts and changes pattern, like a little window to the stars. A kinda "sister" design to the Pinkie x Luna design, who has a color changing mane but in a different way where it shifts colors depending on how the light hits it, whereas this one's hair is like a portal to space. Maybe it is....?

4) Moon Scout (Trixie x Luna)
IN THE NAME OF THE MOON I PUNISH YOU!! Since Luna and Trixie have pretty similar color palettes I cheated a little and used some traits from Trixie's mom in my HC, who has blonde hair. And the other obvious inspiration...I've been watching Sailor Moon with my girlfriend. So obviously in my mind, this girl is a "vigilante" superhero in the wealthy city of Canterlot...although the fact everyone knows her mom is a princess miiiight be the reason her enemies cower in fear, she doesn't mind all that much.
