Description
First off. The format may be irritating, but I rather like it.Here is an example of what a fight might look like between two males of Southeastern type : [link] Fights rarely occur, as this type tends to be pacifist in nature and do not often intrude upon each other. However, depending on the nature of the circumstance, they can fight quite seriously: If one of the two does not appropriately respond to the other during a meeting (ie: the intruding male fails to perform the submissive bow and/or displays his crest in a threat, or engages in other disrespectful acts) this is grounds for a fight. Especially if the intruder refuses to act appropriately after an exchange of words. (Yes. They speak.) If all attempts to divert the conflict fail, they will both rear and scream battle cries, displaying crests and showing the ear patches, as well as lifting the ridge of hair along the spine.
In less serious incidents, the two may exchange blows to the face, neck, and chest, and may butt heads until one decides it is not worth it. This example is a more serious case... involving blows with all four feet, blows to the abdomen, and lunges for one another's faces. They are capable of leaping very high, and during these they will lock forelegs around each others necks for purchase and dig into each others bellies with their hind feet, striving to knock the wind out of one another. Whoever remains on their feet for the landing will likely be the victor. Don't worry, once he has submitted properly the victor will let him go free.
These little sketches are shown at a little smaller than actual size. I found one of my brush pens the other day, a Japanese one that clearly cost me a pretty penny. It works absolutely beautifully... the only thing I worry about is finding cartridges for it once it runs out of them!
I've been uploading far too much of this sort of thing lately. I apologize...
Of course, comments, critiques, questions, what have you are always welcome.
