Hmmm, excuse me but, wont the pencil lines "dissappear" if you paint over them with either watercolour or acryllics?

Also: I am unfamiliar with acryllics and watercolour use in general, do water colours and acryllics mix well? How can they be overlayed (cause noone can predicts colours to math first time around). I heard acryllic fluids are better, if so do they have any other name than "fluid"?

This is what I needed, as much as I fail at watercolors x_x

Er I do have one question. Acrylics are used for the underpainting, right? This is also what you use for the highlights on the dark fur, correct? Just checking so I don't tell myself something different.

Yep! All acrylic. But I don't see why one couldn't use watercolors for an underpainting... I've done that before. All of the fur detail is done in acrylics, thinned partially with Matte Medium and/or water and becoming more opaque as I go, mostly. Doing little experiments helped me to refine this technique, and I get a little better at it as I go.

Hope it is of use, in one way or the other!

ok I really need to read more/experiment more with other mediums, I don't even know what Matte is (I'm looking it up right now, actually). Thank you though
