Description
Somewhere over disputed waters in the East China Sea a JASDF pilot in his brand new F-35A helps maintain cordial and friendly diplomatic relations with his counterparts from across the sea.Safe to say that PLANAF pilot (Also sporting a brand new J-31) is not gonna be too happy to report this situation back to base
An idea that I had in my head for about a year now ever since the Senkaku-Diaoyu islands dispute almost went ballistic. And yes this is of course based on a particular scene from everyone favourite fighters movie. ;D TOP GUN!

Took me a little while to draw that F-35 helmet but I think it turned out allright. The J-31 pilot has however a more classic helmet design but that's cuz I was lazy enough to not dig out if there is any new helmet design made specifically for the J-31. Time will tell I suppouse.
Now I'm off to kiss this account good bye since I think the PLA's cyber hackers are gonna go to war against me xP. hehe

That depends on who you have in mind to be the upside-down aircraft. IKf it's the US F-22 then yeah since it is one of the fighters with the lowest radar cross section currently in service. The Berkut on the other hand never striked me as being efficiently stealth. I do would say the Su-47 has a better maneurability at low speed/altitude than the F-22.
But I guess we'll never find out for sure since the Berkut never made into production and its most recognizable feature was not introduced in any of Russia's subsequent fighter designs like the Su-35 and the T-50.

Sorry, I messed up, The "F-21"Β is actually a J-31. F-31 would be it's foreign export name. It's china's latest 5th generation fighter. Potentially a carrier based fighter much like the F-35C.

No, I know what the J-21 is. But the J-21 is on theΒ top and the F-35 is on the bottom. So why is the F-35 pilot upsides down, and the J-21 pilot right side up?
XD Sorry about the confusion....F/J-21 classifications can be confusing. And with "What the ligit fuck is a "F-21" I was making fun of myself, not you. Dude I used a screenshot of an F-35 model to draw the F-35 (Which is the plane above that is upside down). I used the same model for the bottom aircraft but using photos of the J-31, I mopdified the shape a little so that it would look like the chinese bird.

The J-21 and F-35 Pilots are in the wrong positions. The F-35 pilot is upside down while his plane is right side up while the J-21 pilot is right side up while his plane is upside down.
