This isn't necessarily finished- but I wanted here anyways.The girl in this pic came up originally as the result of some random doodling whilst I had nothing to do at a Comic Club meeting. I liked the design, but I wound up leaving the original sketch at my best friend's place for over a few months. When I finally decided to get it back, looking at it sparked some ideas. And this is the result: a girl who has a powered rocket-suit that channels certain elements- the Tempest; with the form here being Lightning- the other forms are in the hands of my buddies (a sort of drawing challenge to see how they would take to messing around with initial design to make new forms).
I'll put up a color version soon enough.

-Utensils- .5 mechanical pencil, and a non-photo blue pencil which showed up anyway...
-Working Time- about twenty minutes in total

I was about to say that the lightning hair ends where the best part of the design- until I noticed the lightning shaped hair part. That wins half an internet.
Stupid question - the guards (?) on her knees and elbows- they kind of remind me of little ghost faces. Was that intentional, or just coincidental?

As for yours, initially I just wanted that industrial triangular three hole bit...I wound up stretching them and they looked like faces...so I ran with it. So I guess you can say that it was a bit of both.
